| Application rate for large deciduous, evergreens, fruits and shrubs | In early spring, work into the soil surrounding the tree or shrub at a rate of 170 g (1/3 lb) for each metre (3 feet) of plant height. For large trees use 300 g (approximately 2/3 lb) for every 3 cm (1 in) of trunk. For shrubs blossoming in the spring, after flowering time. |

| Application rate for group planting or border | In early spring apply 1.5 kg (3.3 Ib) for every 30 meters (100 ft) of border. This is also 1.5 kg for every 10 m2 (100 ft2) of soil area. Work lightly into the soil and water in. Repeat in four weeks but do not fertilize after the end of July. |
